KS 2 Design Technology, Maths, History.

This session can run for a morning or a day. We look at a brief history of Ferris wheels. We think about the different components of a Ferris wheel then in groups of 2/3 the children start to build their models. After morning break we motorise them, collect and use the data about our ferris wheels. In the afternoon session we build a 6 armed ferris wheel and collect more data.
