Dartmoor, Where we live, our community.
This session links to a range of topics about Dartmoor, depending on the focus required. The children work in groups of 3 or pairs to build a section of the Lego map which are then joined togther. Each group interpreted there section and build a representation of the area. We have the main roads in red and the minor roads in brown, with rivers and an assortment of features and buildings.

This workshop is designed around the area your school is located. At Hatherleigh Primary their topic was Dartmoor. Each group of children built 1 of the 10 sections of the map, we join them together at the end of the morning.
